FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about commercial claim review with RoadClaims Advisor. Can't find your answer? Contact us.
Is RoadClaims Advisor a law firm?+
No. RoadClaims Advisor is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation, legal advice, lawsuit filing, or legal pleadings.
Do you provide legal advice?+
No. We provide commercial claim handling consulting and claim review support only. For legal advice, consult an attorney licensed in your state.
When should I request a claim review?+
As early as possible — ideally before a claim escalates, is denied, drags on, or moves toward litigation. Earlier review usually means more options on the table.
Do I need to upload documents right away?+
No. Documents are only requested after your package is confirmed and payment is received. Please do not send claim documents before then.
When do I pay?+
Only after RoadClaims Advisor reviews your intake and confirms the appropriate package and scope in writing. You will receive a secure payment link.
What happens after I submit intake?+
Your intake is reviewed, the appropriate package is recommended and confirmed in writing, a payment link is sent, and after payment you will receive secure document submission instructions.
Can I request a callback?+
Yes. Use Request a Call Back to share a little about your claim and the best time to reach you — no intake submission required.
Do you work with trucking companies?+
Yes. Commercial trucking is a core focus, including carrier-side liability, coverage, cargo, fleet, and complex claim handling.
Do you work with freight brokers?+
Yes. We support freight brokers with contingent cargo, broker liability, contract exposure, and shipper/carrier dispute issues.
Do you work with shippers and receivers?+
Yes. We help with cargo loss, damage, delivery dispute, and freight claim documentation issues.
Do you work with attorneys?+
Yes. We support attorneys and law firms with claim file analysis as a Custom Review. We do not provide legal advice or representation.
What if my claim is urgent?+
Note the urgency in your intake. Urgent matters are prioritized in the review queue, though specific turnaround windows are not guaranteed.
What if my claim has more than 25 pages?+
Larger files typically require the Complex Claim Review or a Custom Review scope. RoadClaims Advisor confirms scope and pricing before any payment.
How long does a review take?+
Most reviews — Commercial Claim Strategy, Cargo & Freight Dispute, and Policy Contract & Claim Readiness — are delivered within 2–3 business days. Complex Claim Reviews take 7–10 business days. Fleet Claims Management Audits are custom and confirmed at scope; the Monthly Claims Advisory Retainer is ongoing. All timelines are measured from receipt of complete documents and payment, and may extend if additional information is needed.
Is my information confidential?+
Yes. Claim information is treated as confidential and handled only for the purpose of the requested review. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can you appear in court or sign legal pleadings?+
No. RoadClaims Advisor does not provide expert testimony, court appearances, or signed legal pleadings as part of its standard review packages.
Do you offer refunds?+
Because reviews are professional services delivered against a confirmed scope, fees are non-refundable once work has begun. See the Terms of Service for details.
